EcoAgent-6G, 2026-2029.

EcoAgent-6G develops a radio-centric architecture for sustainable, human-centric hybrid connectivity in Industry 5.0 environments like smart factories and urban mobility corridors. It delivers energy-efficient, AI-native mobile agents for real-time worker-robot coordination, using dynamic multi-RAT/NTN handover, RIS-based wavefront shaping, and cognitive radio techniques to cut interference and energy use. Coordinated by SmartAvatar B.V., the project runs November 2026–April 2029 with a €3,002,140 budget, uniting partners from the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Ireland, and Poland.
