We’re currently working with municipalities and universities across Europe through the EU-funded METACITIES project, where Bånded is being implemented as a real-time citizen feedback layer during smart city pilot testing.

• Visualize incident hotspots to identify underreported areas or unsafe transit zones.
   
• Gather community sentiment beyond formal complaints — early signs of fear, discomfort, or marginalization.

• Build trust by showing that institutions are not only listening, but acting.

 In METACITIES, we’re embedding Bånded into public testing zones to:

• Track human experiences in newly developed urban areas
   
• Evaluate design effectiveness through lived experiences
   
• Feed anonymized patterns into digital twin dashboards and planning tools

 Because qualitative, lived-experience data is just as critical as quantitative metrics. And if your public space feels unsafe — it doesn’t matter how smart it is.
